Monelle (Heslep) Holt Moody, 73, of Cabot, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was a retired Budget Analyst for The Little Rock Air Force Base with 30 years of service and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and memaw and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas E. Moody; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Michael Hutchins of Jacksonville; son, Mark Holt of Mayflower; step-daughter, Gracie Wharton (Junior); step-son, Thomas N. Moody (Corilee) all of Hartford, Kansas; sister, Billie Jean Meyers of Cabot; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Heslep and Nina Widner; first husband, Bobby Joe Holt; and sister, Phyllis Stout.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Hill Baptist Church, 11923 Zion Hill Road, Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Jacksonville.
