Miroslaw "Mirek" Zukowski, 73, a 28 year employee of the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock, died March 1, 2015 at his Little Rock home. Born October 25, 1941 in Bialystok, Poland, Zukowski and his family immigrated to Arkansas in 1984 with assistance of the Catholic Refugee Resettlement Program.
He is survived by his wife, Boqumila; daughter, Agnes Rooke; niece, Barbara Golonka (Tracy) of Little Rock; two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Bishop Anthony B. Taylor on Tuesday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Refugee Resettlement Fund, Diocese of Little Rock, 2500 N. Tyler St., Little Rock, AR 72207.
