Miriam Allen

Miriam "Mimsie" McKenzie Allen was born in 1945 to George and Betty McKenzie. She was a loving mother, wife and friend.  She loved the Lord above all else.  Mimsie worked for Family Life, Campus Crusade for Christ for over 30 years.  She loved missions and took her children to Russia to spread God's word.  Mimsie is preceded in death by husband, Timothy E. Allen and their two children Timmy and Kimberly.  Surviving members of her family include her loving husband Tom Allen, her son Jeff Allen, daughter Ellie Allen-Waldrep, grandchildren McKenzie, Kaida, Maisie Ann, Addison Marie and Mackenzie; brother Prince McKenzie (Becky); nieces Jennifer Compton (Christopher) and Miriam Bright (Joshua); great-niece and nephew Natalie and Daniel.

A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 am Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Allen home.
