M.B.Reed Jr or "Mike" age 70, passed away April 8, 2022 from complications following surgery. He was born August 15, 1951 in Little Rock to M.B. Reed Sr. and Charlotte Camp Reed. He graduated from McClellan High School then worked primarily as a route salesman, and served many years with Borden Dairy.
Mike never met a stranger on his route. He loved watching or playing baseball/softball, but enjoyed coaching daughter Summer's teams the most; especially "The Champs". His hobbies included fishing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing trivia, Scrabble, Word Blitz with friends and family, talking sports and Razorbacks (arguing with his nephew, Evan), watching westerns, and history shows. As a youngster he loved following the Yankees and his favorite player, Mickey Mantle. He had many fond memories of spending time with special cousins and hunting with Uncle Pud. He loved to eat; especially pickled cucumbers and onions, watermelon, bbq chicken, and Summer's casseroles.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, M.B. and Charlotte Reed; grandparents, E.C. and Opal Camp, Janie Merrill and Orval S. Reed; niece, Leslie Anderson; and son in law, Jason Green.
Survivors are "his girls" daughter, Summer Green; granddaughter, Tayler Green; sisters, Gail Anderson (Roho), Lisa Adams, Brittney Reed (Jeff Brown); nephew, Evan Adams (Megan); and niece, Erin Adams (Kyle Schrader).
He was a special Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Son.
Visitation will be held at Little Rock Funeral Home Friday May 6, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, considering making a donation to the Pulaski County Humane Society. Mike loved dogs!
