Mildred Wier
Mildred Joyce "Joy" Wier, age 70, of Ward, Arkansas passed away November 25, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1948 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Russell and Ruth Turner.
Joy enjoyed many adventures during her life, including traveling to her favorite destination of Colorado, many fishing trips, and bowling. She worked and retired from the Baptist Health System. Joy's happiest moments involved her volunteering at the schools that her children were attending, including Cato Elementary School, North Wood Junior High, and North Pulaski High School. Joy also actively participated and was a member of the Band Booster Programs.
Joy is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Jim Wier; three children, Jimmy Wier, Jennifer Wier, and John Wier and one grandchild, Casey Wier.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
