She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bessie Bowman, husband Budge Hefner, sister Lavern Newsom, and brother Glen Bowman.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Hunter (Malcolm), granddaughter Mindy Mason (Robert), great granddaughter Kristen Graham, great grandson John Davis, and sister Jean Trick (Eldon).
