Mildred Kaspar Hartl died at home in North Little Rock on March 30, 2009. She was a native of Chicago, Illinois, born July 15, 1921, and was a long-time resident of Morning Star, Arkansas. Mildred was U.S. Postmaster at Morning Star before taking her nursing training at St. Joseph?s Hospital in Hot Springs, where she worked until her retirement in 1989.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Hartl, brother, Charles Kaspar, sisters-in-law, Ruth Kaspar and Magdalen Kaspar, she leaves her beloved brother Robert Kaspar, his son, James and her daughters, Elsa and Susan.
The family wishes to thank Shirley Brown and Baptist Hospice for their support. Also special thanks to Donna Box for her loving care during Mildred?s long illness and to Lori Porter for her friendship and support.
Cremation is provided by North Little Rock Funeral Home and Cremation Service. No visitation or public funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations are welcomed at Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, 72210, and at your local animal shelter.
