She was married in May of 1948 to Charles Edward Graves creating a beautiful love and friendship that lasted for 64 years on this earth until his death, April 27, 2011. They will spend eternity together with Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her beloved husband and her grandson, Dylan Norton. Mildred was a Godly woman, very active in her church life at South Highland in Little Rock and later at the many churches she became united with during her life. She had a beautiful voice. Charlie and she used this talent together many times to honor their Lord. She was blessed with many wonderful lifelong friends during her travels throughout the country with her husband's work and her airstream travels. Mildred had a wonderful life. She made her home and friends wherever she lived and immediately became active in every aspect of the life there. Her life was filled with God, love, family, friends and fun.
The family wishes to thank her many friends that provided her with excellent care at Chenal Rehab, Emeritus and Hospice Home Care.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from Monday through Wednesday at the home of cousin, Becky Martin Osment, in Little Rock.
