Mildred Barber

Mildred Beasley Barber, of North Little Rock, died December 7, 2007, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. Mrs. Barber was born February 12, 1914, in Bradley County, Arkansas the daughter of Benjamin L. and Mai Smith Beasley. She married Graham N. Barber, January 12, 1936, in Monticello, Arkansas, who died January 6, 2002.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Barber of North Little Rock, and two sons and their wives, David Barber and Vicki Morris of Boise, Idaho and Mack and Shirley Howell Barber of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Michael and Tam Barber Mazzei, Aaron and Sherry Barber Wolfe, Herman and Joy Barber White, and John and Janna Young Barber; sisters, Christine Beasley Groce and Maxine Beasley, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Benjamin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott Street, Little Rock, 72202 or to a charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, 5th and Scott, Little Rock with The Rev. Scott Walters officiating. Services conducted by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
