Mike Herron age 55 of Curtis died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his home. He was born December 24, 1953 in Clark County the son of Harris and Joan Irish Herron. Mike was a member of Curtis Assembly of God Church, truck driver and a cattle farmer. His father, Harris Herron and one brother, Steve Herron preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Marilyn Herron; one daughter, Jessica Rose Herron of Houston, Texas; his mother, Joan Herron of Curtis, AR; and one brother, Terry Herron of Fayetteville, AR.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Rev. Grover Kirksey and Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Richwoods Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jared Herron, Corey Herron, Ray Beene, Rodney Beene, Rusty Malcom and Greg Arnold. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Curtis Assembly of God Church.
