Miguel "Mike" Morales, age 50 passed away Wednesday, Sept 27, 2006 at his home. He was born January 5, 1956 in Deming, New Mexico. He lived in Arkadelphia for 20 years before moving to Texas. He was a maintenance tech II employee with Valero/Diamond Shamrock for 16 years. Mike was devoted to his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving wife of eleven years, Marcia Morales; two sons, Adam and Mason Morales of NM; two daughters, Jessica Plasek of Benton, AR and Terri Morales of NM; one step-son, Matthew Talley and two step-daughters, Jaimie Gruenwald and Emily Thompson all of AR; his mother, Manuela Arinibas of NM; six brothers and five sisters of NM; grandchildren, Draven Ross, Colton and Hunter Thompson, Audrey Grunenwald and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, Oct 1, 2006 in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Kluck officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Saturday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Pallbearers will be Matthew Talley, Chester and Dustin Pogue, Danny Hughes, David Robbins and Wayne Sirratt.
