Miguel Cruz, 34, of Benton, AR passed away September 15, 2014. He was born on May 21, 1980 in Chicago, IL to Mary Lou Barber and the late Jose Luis Cruz.
Miguel was an electronic whiz. He was a former newspaper carrier for Arkansas Democrat and Saline Courier. Miguel is remembered for being outgoing and was well-loved by everyone who knew him.
Miguel is survived by his wife, Cynthia Robinson Cruz of Bryant, AR; sons, Zachary Tylor Thompson and Juan Jose Cruz; daughter, Chloe Robinson; mother, Mary Lou Cruz of Benton, AR; sisters, Delia Cruz and Diana Cruz; brothers, Jose Cruz, Jr. and Robert Barber; grandmother, IV Cranson, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends who loved Miguel and will miss him always.
Miguel is preceded in death by his father and brother, Juan Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10:00 AM - Noon at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015.
Family has requested donations towards funeral expense in lieu of flowers.
