Michelle Hood, 47, departed this life to spend eternity with the Lord, July 11, 2018. She was born July 21, 1970 in Little Rock, AR. Michelle was united in marriage to James "Steve" Hood on June 15, 1996.
Michelle was a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Medical Sciences as a radiology technologist.
Michelle was a selfless, loving mother. She had a keen wit and sense of humor. The great joy in her life was the time she spent with her family.
Michelle knew the Lord as her Savior and is safe at home in heaven.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Ethan Hood, Brittany (Zach Mahieu) Burnett and Kayla (Chris) Daniels; 2 grandchildren, Darrin and Leslee; parents, David and Era (Wheetley) Cowden; brothers, David (Jennifer) Cowden and John (Lisa) Cowden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dallas J. Hood and infant grandson Dylan J. Baker.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy, Arkansas. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
