Michelle Cook Gilbert

Michelle Cook Gilbert, age 53, of Kirby, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022.

She was born on March 8, 1968, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Bobby Richard Cook and Barbara Ruth Gregory Cook. On January 15, 2011, she was married to Larry Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Michelle was a licensed practical nurse at CHI St. Vincent in Murfreesboro. She enjoyed arts and crafts and working in her flower gardens. She loved children, her pets and just loved life in general. She will truly be missed!

She is survived by her husband, Larry Gilbert of Kirby; two children, Heather Lovewell of Dierks and Christopher Gilbert of Michigan; her grandson, Keegan Tyler Lovewell and a granddaughter on the way; her brother, Keith Cook of Kirby; her sister, Tammy Baldas of Arkadelphia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 31, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carter Turner, Kenyon Turner, Jackson Furr, Jeremy Turner, Matthew Cook and Patrick Litster.
