Michael Curtis Vaughn

Michael Curtis Vaughn, 75, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away April 4, 2025. He was born October 4, 1949, to Dorothy Clark Spann and Shelby Neal Vaughn. He was the chairman of the Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church where he was ordained many years prior.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Stephen Vaughn; sisters Cheryl Adam and Cassie Daniels; father-in-law Delmer Hendrickson; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Hendrickson Vaughn of Searcy; daughter Stephanie Vaughn Sanford (Tim) of Bald Knob; grandson Phillip Vaughn of Searcy; mother-in-law Lillian Baugh Hendrickson of Beebe; siblings Jackie (Rich) March of Pennsylvania, George Reissman (Mary Gosvener) of Jacksonville, twin brother Patrick Vaughn (Judy) of Jacksonville, Robert Vaughn (Joan) of Oklahoma, Richard Vaughn (Ginny) of Jacksonville, and Charles Vaughn (Alma) of Kensett; and several nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1508 W.
