Michael Anthony Vacca was born on January 4,1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the beloved son of Mary Vacca and John Vacca. On February 5, 2024, Michael peacefully passed away at The Springs of Park Avenue. Throughout his life, Michael made a significant impact in the community as a butcher at a local grocery store. With his skillful hands and extensive knowledge, he took great pride in providing quality meats to his customers. His dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and patrons alike.
Michael's outgoing personality made him a joy to be around. Outside of work, Michael found solace in his favorite hobbies and interests. He had a deep appreciation for nature and loved spending time at the lake. Whether it was fishing or simply enjoying the peaceful scenery, being near the water brought him immense joy. Additionally, he was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks football team and always looked forward to cheering them on during game days.
Michael is survived by his sons Bradley Vacca and J.A. Vacca; his sister Rita McCain; and a grandson, Grayson Vacca.
While we mourn the loss of Michael Anthony Vacca from our lives, let us also celebrate his life.
