Michael Hunt Stroud

Mike was born on his brother’s birthday in Danville, Arkansas on September 25, 1946 to Bob and LaMoyne (Hunt) Stroud.  He passed from this life on May 26, 2023 in North Little Rock, AR at the age of 76.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry and his oldest son, Michael.  He leaves two children, Anthony Stroud of North Little Rock, AR and Keisha Stroud of Dayton, OH, two grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb Stroud of North Little Rock, AR a sister, Lori (Mike) Conner of Pyatt, AR, a sister-in-law, Clara (Albert) Straub and a whole house full of nieces, nephews and cousins.   

Mike graduated from Belleville High School in 1964.  He worked in the communications business, installing digital switching equipment all over the United States.  He worked as a subcontractor for NASA on the Apollo Project and fell in love with the Florida climate.  He later bought a house in Spring Hill, FL and spent many happy hours floating in his pool. He returned to Jacksonville, AR to care for his mother in her final years. His biting wit will be sorely missed. 

There will be a graveside service at Macedonia Cemetery, on Hwy 80, near Danville, AR on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  Arrangements entrusted to Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
