Michael Russell

Michael Walker Russell, 76, passed away on November 15, 2017 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Michael is survived by his four children, James Michael Russell of Dallas TX, Melissa Ann Parker of Sherwood, Clay Walker Russell and Jason Wayne Russell, both of North Little Rock. He had seven grandchildren; Karson, Gabrielle, Cole, Mason, Riley, Kaden and Chloe. He had two great-grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Russell, his parents, Jack Walker Russell and Maxine James Russell, and his brother, James Larry Russell. Michael was also preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Ann Boschen Russell.

Michael was born on April 23, 1941 in Knoxville, Arkansas. He graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1959. He served in the Air National Guard. Michael followed his father and grandfather by working many decades for the Railroad. His passion was cars - restoring them, showing them, buying and selling them.

A memorial service followed by a reception for friends and family will be held on November 21, 2017 at North Little Rock funeral home at 4:00 pm.
