Michael Curry Rogers, 73, born August 19, 1943, died in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 11, 2017. Originally from El Dorado, Arkansas, he was a retired office manager and a member of Little Rock First Baptist Church. His family will always remember that he was hard working and family was important to him. He was very fond of his El Dorado High School 1961 class members. He kept them informed about El Dorado news items, remembered their birthdays and helped with class reunions and other events. He was very patriotic, serving in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

Michael was predeceased by a son, Brian El Rogers; parents, Byron Leslie Rogers and Ruth El Curry Foster; a brother, Byron L. (Buddy) Rogers, Jr.; and grandparents, El and Ruth Curry.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Reynolds Rogers, two daughters, April Robinson and Sarah and Joey Langston, granddaughter, Chloe Michelle Robinson; grandsons, Andrew James, Jacob Curry and Josiah Samuel Langston; and granddaughters, Charlotte Jane and Celia Joy Langston; his loving aunt, Virginia Newell and his half-sister, Leslie Reid in Teague, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, April 17 from 5-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado at 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, www.allbloodcancers.org.
