Michael Ray "Mikey" Mayberry

Michael Ray "Mikey" Mayberry, age 61, of Glenwood, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. He was born on April 1, 1955 in Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Johnson; his father, Raymond Mayberry; his sister, Lela Moss; and two brothers, Charles "Donnie" Mayberry and Rodney Johnson. He was a United States Army veteran. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved being around people, especially his family. He is survived by three children, Michael Squires of Chicago, Illinois, Holly Mayberry and Rusty Mayberry, both of Hot Springs; three step-children, Zeeta Tripp of Hot Springs, Amber Tripp of Escondido, California and Ricky Nyblade of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and three siblings, Sidney Louis Mayberry of Pearcy, Bobby Fox of Glenwood and Glenda Mooney of Hot Springs. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Phillip Millard officiating. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
