Michael James Odom

Michael James Odom was born in Little Rock,  Arkansas  on June 4, 1979. He gained his heavenly  wings  on July 22, 2022.  He was 43 years old. 

He is preceded in death by his sister in law, Maeiris Love Allen, paternal grandmother  Tressie  Odom , and maternal grandmother  Nomel Page. Mother in law , Corean Tucker Love  and Father in law, Mitchell Love Sr .

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Polly Ann Love Odom, his parents, Odus Darrell Odom  of Greenville ,Arkansas,  and Brenda Ann Page Odom  of Maumelle. Brothers Darrell Odom  and wife Michelle,  Gary Odom of Warren, AR,  and Ricky Odom  of Jacksonville . One sister, Belinda Odom Lint and husband  Michael  of Jacksonville.  His nephews, Gabriel  James Odom (Darrell) and Ricky Odom Jr. (Ricky Sr.) And nieces Kylie Ann and Katherine Paige(Ricky)  Kaeli and Melissa Thomas (Darrell). Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Michael  attended Mills High in Little Rock  where played football, defensive line. He loved the New York Jets. His taste in music widely varied, he loved everything  from KISS, to Frank Sinatra to Glen Campbell.  He quite the comedian,  and even sneaked backstage to meet George Carlin. His sense of humor  was bizarre and hilarious.  He played video games  and loved watching first take sports. He was a great singer with a smooth voice, we enjoyed  karaoke with him. He adored his cat, Tom Tom. He loved animals.

Donations may be made in Michael’s  name to Autism Speaks and National Lymphedema Network.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2022 at the funeral home.
