Michael Paul Morgan, 62, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006. He was a 1961 graduate of Batesville High School where he played football. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was attending Arkansas State University, Beebe. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dianne Coffman Morgan, of Jacksonville; three daughters, Michelle Nicholas and husband, Kyle of North Little Rock, Melissa Boroughs and husband, Brian of Cabot and Melanie Smith of Cabot; son, Mark Morgan and wife Starla, of Bentonville; mother, Geneva Morgan; brother and sister-in-law, Rocky and Kim Morgan and nephew, Seth Morgan, all of Batesville; grandchildren, Kale and Katelynn Nicholas, Morgan and Molly Boroughs, Mallorie Morgan, Matthew Smith, Lennon Lipscomb, and Austin, Coltin and Brooklyn Morgan. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Morgan.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with a graveside service at 3:00 P.M. at Hopper Cemetery in Hopper, Arkansas. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.northlittlerockfuneralhome.com.
