Michael "Mike" Edward Henry

Michael “Mike” Edward Henry, 72, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away May 20, 2023. He was born in Livermore, California on June 19, 1950 to Joseph and Beverly (Emery) Henry.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Henry. Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Painter Henry; children, Michael Edward Henry, Jr. (Shinta) and Kristi Henry (Michael Lopez); grandchildren, Monte, Alexandria, Mike, Camala, and Alan; stepchildren, Ashley Formento (Dan) and Kecia Lemons (Freddy); step-grandchildren, Alex, Natalie, Clint, Jake; great-grandchildren, Eva and Everett; brothers, David Henry, Keith Thomas, and Tim Thomas; sister, Cindy Henry; and a host of family and friends.

Mike was an extremely hard worker. He was an extraordinary craftsman, master plumber, and building contractor. He built well over 30 new houses and lovingly restored numerous houses in the Quapaw Quarter in Little Rock. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed building his own bikes which he won many awards for. He loved to go to Sturgis and went many times. We know Mike is happy to be reunited with his best fur friend, Nickel.

The family requests that any remembrances or donations be made in Mike’s name to the Wolfe Street Foundation.
