Michael Lynn Merritt, Sr., 67, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away February 17, 2016. He was born July 13, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Joe and Lilly Partain Merritt.
Michael worked in the family tire business, Merritt Tire. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Preceding Michael in death are his wife, Betty Sue Merritt; brother, Joe Hoyt Merritt; and sister, Vera Merritt.
Left to cherish his memories are sons, Michael Lynn Merritt, Jr., and wife Shawn and David Bradley Merritt of Little Rock; grandson, Michael Allen Merritt; brothers, Jimmy Merritt and wife Jody and James Merritt; as well as other relatives and friends who loved Michael and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday, February 21, 2016; Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas 72015. Funeral service, officiated by Rev.
