Michael Irons

Michael Irons, age 48, of Lockesburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

He was born on January 23, 1973 in Monticello, the son of Michael Odell Irons and Diane Morrow Irons Barbee. On August 11, 1990, he was married to Kandie Ann McKaughan. He was preceded in death by his father.

Michael was employed with S & S Plumbing and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was known as a good man who loved his wife and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Kandie Irons of Lockesburg; his son, Kyle Irons of Lockesburg; his mother and stepfather, Diane and Gene Barbee of Royal; his brother, Logan Irons of Hot Springs; and his maternal grandparents, Gladys and Bobby Capes of Pansy.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Robert Green officiating.

Social distancing directives will be in place with 66% capacity in chapel and face covering must be worn.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 2:00 PM until service time.

Cremation will follow the service.
