Michael Hicks
Michael R. Hicks, age 45, of Ward, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 3, 2015.
He was the beloved father of Vaili (10) his "Short Round" and Alanna (8) his "Froggie", both of Ward. Mike was the heart, soul, mind, and true love of his wife Denise. He was a quiet, caring, giving, loving, wonderful man who, for the last ten years, worked at the Searcy Division of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma and Grandpaw, Estelle and John Bransteter of Eudora; and his dad, Grover Hicks of Beebe.
He leaves on this earth his mother, Lucille Hicks of Beebe; his favorite nephew, Lynn Smith of Judsonia; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and a multitude of friends.
A Visitation with food reception will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Smith- Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, Arkansas. Everyone is invited to attend, share and enjoy the memories of his life. A Celebration of his Life will follow at 4:00 p.m.
