Michael Emerson Connett

Michael Emerson Connett, Born August 27, 1960 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Richard and Barbara Connett. Michael left this earth Feb. 22, 2022 and is preceded in death by his daughter, Courtney Connett. Father, Richard Connett. Father-In-Law, JD Mahan and Mother-in-law, Joan Mahan.

Michael leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Linda Connett. His daughter Kristen Winer, her husband Simon Winer and their son Jackson. His mother, Barbara Connett; his sister, Julie Folkert, her husband Dave Folkert. Also, a dearly loved niece, two nephews and several great nieces, great nephew and cousins.

Michael was a proud US Navy veteran and a true patriot. He was also a proud UCA alumni, class of 1988. He was an avid hunter, sportsman and knife collector. Michael was also a proud supporter of his second amendment rights. Michael was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and never missed watching a game.

He was also a lover of all things music. He loved it all from 70s & 80s rock. There wasn’t a song by Journey, Kiss, or AC/DC that he didn’t know and then could easily sing Hank Williams Jr. or George Jones. Mike would always be the first to play the air drums on the steering wheel.
