Michael Canard

Michael W. Canard, 61, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on August 14, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born on September 27, 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Loye and Lucille Canard.

Michael was a concrete production manager for many years. He loved corvettes and cars, having served with the Arkansas Street Machines and the Central Arkansas Corvette Club. He also loved going to the lake with his dog Bentley. Michael was a loving father, papaw, uncle and friend.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Loye and Lucille Canard; 2 brothers, David and Loye Canard; 2 sisters, Rayma Wallis and Betty Boyer; and son Michael Ryan Canard.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Leslie and Michael Young, and Paige Canard; and 2 grandsons, Asher and Noah Young. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
