Michael Kent Bennett

Michael Kent Bennett, 78, of Sherwood went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was born on April 21, 1945 in Paragould, Arkansas.

Mike started his professional career at IBF Printing then transferring as a Salesman to Consolidated Printing eventually starting his own companies Universal Business Forms and One Stop Print Shop that he ran with his children till his retirement.

Mike was a devoted husband, father and mentor to many and a lifelong member of Sidon Baptist Church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Mike was survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathy McKay Bennett, son Kary Bennett (Shelly) of Mayflower, daughter Kristy Bennett Underwood (Todd) of Lonoke. Five grandchildren; Kody Bennett, Mac Duncan, Gray Bennett, Justin Underwood and Drake Underwood.  Brother Keith Bennett (Alma) of Searcy and a host of family and friends that loved him dearly.

He was proceeded in death by his son, Kevin Bennett and parents Phen and Edith Bennett.

Services will be held at Sidon Baptist Church in Rose Bud, Arkansas on Saturday October 14, 2023 with service at 11am. Visitation will be at 10am at Sidon Baptist Church before the services. Burial will be at Sidon Cemetery, Rose Bud, Arkansas.
