Merrie K Doss

Merrie Kathryn “Kathy” Doss, 68, of Little Rock, AR died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on October 7, 2022.

Kathy was born on July 20, 1954 in Little Rock to Billy A and Betty L Singley. Awaiting her in heaven are her parents and sister, Carol Muncy and beloved pet, Addie.

Remaining to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Ronnie Doss; daughters Andrea Doss, Fawn (Jerry) Borden, and Karla Ross; grandchildren, Chloe Ross, Zachary Borden, Tommy Ross, and Daven Ross; siblings, Bill (Lynn) Singley, Mark (Beth) Singley, Bruce (Linda) Singley, and Jackie Guffin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, antiquing, going to the beach, and volunteering within her community. Kathy was known for her compassion, loving spirit, and kindness to all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive visitors at 10:00 AM Saturday October 15, 2022 and the service celebrating Kathy’s life will follow at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR 72205.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to UAMS Oncology Floor E7. The family is very grateful for all the wonderful love and care Kathy received from UAMS. A heartfelt thank you for all the love, prayers, support, and compassion shown to her and her family over the past months.
