Melvin Wicker

Melvin Ottis Wicker, 65, of Benton, Arkansas passed away March 26, 2021.  He was born February 2, 1956 in Prescott, Arkansas to the late Ottis Earl and Amy Lee Elizabeth (Elmore) Wicker.

Melvin graduated from Benton High School in 1974 where he was very active in the ROTC program.  He served on the Rifle team which won competitions for several years.  Melvin was also a Boy Scout Master.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing.  Melvin loved the Lord and adored his family.  He was dearly loved by all who knew him and made an impression on everyone he met with his witty sense of humor.  Melvin retired from the plumbing business.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa Reedy and husband Steve; step-son, Donald Steele and wife Dana; grandchildren:  Miranda, Gracie, Whitney, David, and Daniel; ex-wife and life partner, Ada Louise Steele; sister, Helen Wicker; and host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends who love Melvin and will miss him always.
