Arnold Fecher, 82, of Sherwood passed away Thursday, December 6, 2007. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood and an ordained Deacon. He was an operations manager for AFCO Steel with 38 years of service and a World War II Army Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bernice Fecher, of Sherwood; two sons, Melvin Fecher and his wife, Wanda, of Hot Springs and Shawn Fecher, of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Dawn Cates and her husband, Ronnie, Tonya Fecher, Peyton Fecher and Mason Fecher; two great-grandsons, A.J. and Aaron Sanchez; three sisters, Betty Jo Fowler, Adelene Hallmark and Lula Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Ethel Fecher; and two sisters, Beatrice Busick and Edith Galloway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to The First Baptist Church of Sherwood, 701 Country Club, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday at First Baptist Church of Sherwood. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
