Melva Stevenson
Melva Jean Stevenson age 75 of Arkadelphia died Sunday May 30, 2010 in Bismarck. She was born May 3, 1935 the daughter of the late Warren and Lorraine Perry Stevenson. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and held various jobs in the Arkadelphia area. One brother, Ron Stevenson and one sister, Marion Bryan preceded her in death.
Survivors are two sons, Jay Carter of Hot Springs, AR; Larry Carter of Arkadelphia, AR; two daughters, Sherrye Carter of Hot Springs, AR; Carla Parks of Fayetteville, AR; one brother, Warren Stevenson of Arkadelphia, AR; one sister, Sandy Brightwell of Dallas, TX; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Cremation will follow.
