Mellov Fielder

Mellov Joyce Fielder died Sunday, April 5, 2020, in her home in Beebe, Arkansas after a short battle with cancer.  Born in 1933 in Rector, Arkansas she was the oldest of four daughters.

Mellov was creative and resourceful, finding use in items others had missed.  An avid letter writer, she constructed cards that included notes with beautiful handwriting.  She was self-disciplined and worked hard at everything she did.  It was her great joy to serve alongside her husband at church and in their community.

Mellov was comforted by her faith and read the scriptures daily.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wayne Fielder and son-in-law, Mark Carroll.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Carroll of Beebe, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Johnson (Brian) of North Little Rock, Meredith Howard (Roger), and Leah Carroll both of Beebe, and three great-grandchildren, Gillian and James Howard, and Louis Johnson, and three sisters, Emmoa Lou Griffith of Colliersville, Tennesse, Joy Janelle Raines (Richard) of Holly Springs, Mississippi and Donna Kay Hargraves (Mike) of Buffalo, Missouri.

Burial in Beebe Cemetery was on Monday, April 6, 2020.  Arrangements by Smith – Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
