Melissa Loomis

Melissa R. Loomis, age 49, of Cabot left to be with the Lord, June 6th, where she passed away peacefully at her home. Melissa earned an accounting degree from UALR, and most recently worked as an HR Specialist for CARTI Cancer Center in Little Rock. Her hobbies included fishing, boating, camping, gardening, spending time with her family in her pool, and doing anything outdoors with her husband, son and family.
Her death was preceded by her grandfather Archie Mose Johnson, her father B.R. Johnson, her mother Billie Woods, a brother Jimmy Johnson and a sister Billie Araujo.
Melissa is survived by her husband and best friend of 18 years Joseph Loomis of Cabot, her son Cody Wadley, 24, of Sherwood, a brother Shane Johnson and three sisters Tonya Powers, Dee Ann Kinchen and Diana Beverly. She also will be missed by many other family members and friends which include some very special nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
A special memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, June 10th, 2016 at Huson Funeral Home, Sherwood, Arkansas.
