Melinda Freeman

Melinda Lou Freeman, 53, of Little Rock, passed away May 6, 2012. After dealing with grief for a long time over her mother's passing, she went to be with her and Jesus. She was born in Little Rock to George and Martha York Elmore and was a member of Ironton Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, she leaves behind her daughters, Sabrina Salter and Shara Richards and grandchildren, Evan, Gavin and Trever; brother, George Elmore and his wife, Heather; nieces, Kaitlyn and Madeline Elmore and nephew, Tyler Elmore; and her friends to the end, Michael Freeman and Wayne Salter.
A daughter, sister, mother, Meme, Ninny and friend, she will be missed dearly by all her family and many friends. She was the best "ME" she could be.
Melinda was an avid reader; she loved to go bowling and she liked being creative and making crafts. She was a Facebook fan and a gamer. She enjoyed life and was full of love for all she knew.
Services will be held on Friday May 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Western Hills United Methodist Church. Everyone who would like to be a part of the memorial is more than welcome.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family to help with the arrangements. Donations can be made at the time of the memorial or to Little Rock Funeral Home.
