Melba Jane Hicks Davidson, 72, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Monday, September 6, 2010. She was a retired secretary and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Melba is survived by her husband, Leland Davidson; a son, James Davidson of Austin; a daughter, Sandra Davidson of North Little Rock; a sister, Nadine Simmons of Russellville; and a granddaughter, Jasmine Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Allie Mae Hicks, and her brothers, Gene, Ray, Doyce, and Gary Hicks.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
