Megan Dane

Megan Michelle McKinney Dane, came to us October 24, 1986 and left us November 12, 2016.
When Megan was born her parents and siblings considered her to be a special gift from God. She was the baby in the family and was never willing to relinquish that position. She filled it well.
Megan had a tender heart for others and always looked for the best in people. Her capacity to love was surpassed only by her willingness to forgive. She was kind, compassionate, generous, gentle and patient. Megan was loyal to all she called friend and they were invited to share her life. A clock was NOT her friend.
Megan loved her Savior, her child, her family and friends, dogs, horses, baby raccoons and a good song.
Megan was not perfect, but she had a perfect Savior. She was a greatly blessed, highly favored, imperfect, but forgiven child of God. Because of this, we have assurance and know with certainty, that we will see her again in Heaven, our eternal home.
Megan is with her Father in Heaven, but she leaves behind for us to love, an invaluable gift, her precious child, Adelai (Addie) Dane who is a reflection in heart and features of her precious Momma.
Megan is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Cleon Karber and Roy McKinney. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Larry and Peggy McKinney; brothers, Lance McKinney, Jeremy McKinney and her sister-in-love, Daniele and their daughters, Scarlett and Lyla; sister, Nicole Huddleston and children, Cole, Sydnee and McKayla, and grandmothers, Alice McKinney and Willie Mae Karber. Also, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and those she considered family.
The family would like to thank all who have ministered to our family and all who have shown kindness to Megan during her earthly life.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 14th at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
