Meera Annie Singh

Meera Annie Singh, aged 7 and a half weeks, passed peacefully at home in Little Rock, AR on August 15th, 2024. She breathed her last breath surrounded by love, in the arms of her mother and surrounded by her father, brother and grandparents.

Meera is the treasured daughter of Sunny Singh and Sindhu Malapati. They awaited her arrival joyfully and were excited to learn how to be ‘girl parents’. She was born on June 24th, 2024. Her brother, Kabir Singh named her Annie, after a character in his favorite book and he looked forward to her being his partner-in-crime in many adventures. During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed family cuddles, nature walks, bath time, stories from Kabir-anna, songs from Daddy, being read to by Mummy, massages from her grandmother and being told ‘I love you’ innumerable times. She was tiny but mighty and was insistent in letting us know her disapproval. Her dad knows because he was on the receiving end of many of her punches. She is our warrior princess, our beautiful Meera. We know that one day we will hold our Meera-cle again.

She received love from family and friends from all over the world. She has touched many lives and taught us many lessons. We will be forever grateful for the time we had with Meera. She will be deeply missed by her parents, brother, grandparents, aunts and uncles. The family would like to thank the staff at ACH for the incredible care provided to Meera and all our friends, family and colleagues for the love, support and compassion during this very tough time. 

Services will be held Tuesday, August 20th, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Prayer Service will begin at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held afterwards from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
