McKinley "Kenny" Thomas

Kenny Thomas was born September 23, 1948 of Hopper and passed away November 2, 2024.

Although it felt like his time, here was cut short, Kenny worked hard and lived his life the best he knew how. He was a welder by trade and retired after 23 1/2 years from the the city of Hot Springs street department. In retirement, he was able to do all the things he really enjoyed doing like hunting, fishing, telling stories, and making everyone laugh. But his main goal in life was to try to see if he could kill somebody with his pepper sauce. But unfortunately, everyone who has tried it has lived. Hopper will never be the same now that the Mayor is gone. Kenny was loved and respected, by so many in the community and has left a hole that may never be filled. Hope to have a nice cold beer with you again one day you will be missed.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 7th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Home in Glenwood.
