Maxine Young

Maxine Frauenthal Young was born on August 20th 1916 in Heber Springs Arkansas to Mortimer and Hazel Hooss Frauenthal. She died in Chester Virginia on May 8th, 2008.
She attended Arkansas State Teachers College and is a graduate of St. Vincents School of Nursing in Little Rock, Arkansas. She retired from a nursing career at the Missouri Pacific Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Nathaniel L. Young on August 29th, 2002.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Nathaniel L. Young, Jr. and Carole Young of Chesterfield, Virginia, two grandchildren. Lisa Young Berg of Poetry,Texas and Laura Elaine Young Blood and Chief Warrant Officer (3) Shawn Blood of Ft. Lewis, Washington and one cousin, Harry Hooss of Forest Virginia.
She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church of Little Rock, Arkansas.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on May 30th 2008 at the Second Presbyterian Church at 1:00PM by Pastor Karen Akin with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
