Maxine Shurley

Maxine L. (Weatherley) Shurley, longtime resident of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus on October 21, 2018. She was born June 2, 1925 in Prairie County, Arkansas. She was the owner of Maxine's Day Care Center for many years and director of Ding Dong Kampus in Cabot.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Shurley, Sr., three brothers, a sister, and thirteen half brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Floyd A. "Bo" Shurley, Jr. M.D. and wife Carmen; grandchildren Diana Farrier (David), Pamela Futch (Keith), and Tim Shurley (Jill); and seven great grandchildren, Carter, Hunter, Owen, Callie, Levi, Jackson and Logan.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at The Assembly in Cabot. Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, also at The Assembly and followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
