Maxine Blassingame

Maxine (Baxter) Blassingame, 75, of Sherwood passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010. She was retired from "The Pediatric Clinic" after 31 years and was a member of Levy Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Mike Kingrey, of Sherwood; two brothers, Carl Baxter, of Bigelow and Kenneth Baxter, of Vilonia; two grandchildren, John and Jarred Kingrey, of Sherwood; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Blassingame; her parents and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 10411 W. Markham, Ste. 130, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday at Blassingame Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
