Mavis Sturch Story, 81, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. She was born December 5, 1927 in Hazen, Arkansas, the daughter of Adrin D. and Joyce E. Minton Sturch. She retired from Rebsamen Insurance, a member of the Eastern Star, member and past president of the Business and Professional Women's Club. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, Linda Kay Chandler of Seattle, Washington, David Montgomery of Mohomet, Illinois and Beverly Guinee of Little Rock; grandchildren, Elizabeth Weintraub, Emily Chandler, Ryan Guinee, Anna Guinee, John Newman and Adrin Montgomery; and three great-grandchildren.
Ms. Story was preceded in death by her parents, Adrin D. Sturch and Joyce E. Minton-Latner; brothers, Leon Sturch, Calvin Sturch and Billy Sturch and her beloved son, Stephen B. Newman, Jr.
Services will be held on Monday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Pamela Morgan, followed by interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4 from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at 46 Nob View Circle in Little Rock.
