Newton graduated from Magnolia High School in 1967 and then from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1972. While there, he majored in industrial management and was a member of Sigma Chi where he made lifelong friends. Newton and Linda founded ACE Glass (“A Christian Enterprise”) in 1986 to serve the community and construction industry. Under Newton’s guidance, ACE became the largest glazing contractor in Arkansas contributing to numerous high-profile projects across the state. Newton was recently inducted into the Arkansas Construction Hall of Fame due to his contributions, leadership, and esteemed reputation among his peers. He loved golf, duck hunting, and time spent with his family. He was a man of great faith who actively sought opportunities to share God’s love locally and internationally.
