Mattie Ruth Wyatt

Mattie Ruth Wyatt, age 85, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away October 11, 2023.  She was born March 30, 1938, to Jesse Lee Pipkins and Monnie Mae Mason in Gregory, Arkansas.

Ruth was a devout Christian that loved reading the Bible, listening and singing gospel or bluegrass music.  She loved bird watching, reading, movies, television and had an amazing knowledge of plants.

Ruth was a well-dressed, classic woman and mother with a huge heart.  Her personality was as vibrant as the rainbows in the sky.

She worked as a Key Punch Operator for Wal-Mart prior to her retirement.

Ruth is preceded in death by her son, Timothy “Tim” Wade Smith, sister, Delois Mills and brothers, Harley Pipkins and Howard Pipkins.

She is survived by son, Kevin (Karen) Smith; daughter-in-law Barbara Smith; three grandchildren, Miranda Sweeney, Dustin Smith and Gabriel Smith; four great grandchildren, Kaiden Smith, Madison Smith, Elijah Sweeney and Luke Sweeney; two brothers, Arlen Pipkins and Lester Pipkins, one sister, Mabel Hooper and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends and family Monday evening, October 16^th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe, Arkansas.  Funeral services will be Tuesday morning, October 17^th at 11:00 a.m. also Smith Westbrook, followed by burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.
