Mattie "Matt" Faye Edmonson Wyatt Cooper, 86, of Higden, AR, passed from this world Tuesday, Valentine's Day, into the arms of her Lord and Savior. She was born July 17, 1930 in Little Rock, AR to Cecle E. and Sollie Malana Hickman Edmonson. Matt was a world traveler having visited Europe numerous times. She was also an avid RVer who traveled extensively all over the U.S. She was a professional clown, having graduated from clown school, performing during her travels with her puppet Clarabell, to nursing homes, hospitals, RV parks and children. Her most loved audience being her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Aaron Eugene Wyatt and husband, Roscoe Lee "Pop" Cooper, and four brothers. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James and Brenda Smith Wyatt of Higden, AR, daughter and son-in-law Janet and Otto Bargezi of Basel, Switzerland; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with numerous special nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Indian Rock Village and her caretakers for their special care and love they provided during her stay.

Memorial services will be held at Southside Baptist Church in Bee Branch, AR on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM, as well as a celebration of her life at her beloved Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church in Pipe Creek, TX on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM, and lastly at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX on March 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
