Mattie Bratton

Mattie Clara Bratton, 91, of Little Rock, widow of Clettis Bratton, passed away September 22, 2009. Born January 20, 1918 to John Wesley and Jewel Gibson Hindman, she was of the Pentecostal faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joe Ann Matthews, a brother, Gibson Hindman and grandchildren, Carl Dean Bratton and Diana Douglas, she is survived by her sons, J. C. DeBoser (Bonnie), Calvin Bratton (Patricia), Milton Bratton (Elaine), Donald Bratton (Janet) and Roy Bratton (Cheryl); her daughters, Patsy Stalter (Hiram), Mary Harris (George) and Margaret Frederick (Jim, deceased); a brother, R. L. Lawrence Hindman (O'Neal); her sister, Levenia Crigger (Robert); thirty-one grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Funeral Home between 6:00 - 8:00p.m. Services will be Thursday, September 24 at 9:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Brian Gullett, followed by burial at Gibson Cemetery in Gravel Ridge.
