Matthew Rhoads

Matthew Clint Rhoads, 42 of Alexander, passed away on July 3rd from heart failure. He was born May 2, 1968 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Bob Rhoads and Cheryl Rusher Stotts. Matt graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1986 and UAMS College of Nursing in 1992. He worked many years as an RN, primarily with oncology patients. He was a kind and loving person with his family, friends and patients and was of the Christian faith. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his children. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Margaret Rhoads, and Levi and Gladys Rusher.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Tricia Rozypal Rhoads, children Carter, Ginger, and Jenna, Brother Rusty Rhoads, Sister Anna Moore, stepparents Donna Rhoads and Craig Stotts, stepsisters Maria Bianciardi and Katie Stotts, nephew and nieces Kyle and Mallory Hubbard, Emily and Allison Moore, Laney Rhoads, and Nora Bianciardi, and several cousins.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, North Little Rock, 758-1170. A graveside service will be held Thursday 11:30 A.M. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to UAMS Family Home (an extended stay center for families of oncology and NICU patients), 4301 West Markham, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
