Alan was the first-born son to Matt and Annette Carter Waters and lived a very purpose-driven life until August 4, 2007 while vacationing in Mexico with his beloved wife, Sandy. Alan graduated from Pulaski Academy, where he played varsity football, and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a varsity cheerleader. He was filled with an entrepreneurial desire to create new things. He brought Gold's Gym to the Little Rock area. He spread his wings on several ideas which took him to California where he searched for new worlds to conquer. During this time, he gave up on himself and told God he had tried and failed at being successful. If he became a success, God would have to bring it to pass - and God did! For the next several years, his fortunes changed. He began a ministry called "MUSTARD SEED ONE" and developed his strengths into mentoring men who sought his help. He eventually became CEO of Wilson-Johnson Co., Inc., a commercial real estate developer. Alan also was the Chairman of the Board of the Coachella Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. No dream was too high. As a husband, son, brother, uncle and friend, Alan gave tirelessly. He was never too busy to listen and encourage. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Waters; his parents; a brother, Brian Waters of Fayetteville, Arkansas; a sister, Beth and Herb Hodde of Fresno, California; a nephew, Benjamin Hodde and three nieces, Catie Waters and Lauren and Alyssa Hodde. There is never a final good-bye for those who are bound for heaven.
